The official Google Photos app is made for the way you take photos today and includes essential features like shared albums, automatic creations and an advanced editing suite. Additionally every Google Account comes with 15 GB of storage and you can choose to automatically back up all your photos and videos in High quality or Original quality. You can then access them from any connected device and on photos.google.com.
With the official app, you get:

1. Should improve the free up space feature. Let us decide what to delete, not just delete all. Why do I need to delete all the thing when my storage is 256 or 512? I pay more for more storage not to delete all data when storage is low. 2. Nearby share has strange limitations: can't share more than 200 items, can't share slow motion. 3. Edit/crop photo will result in a wrong modified date one. This is an critical bug.

I really want this to be the app for my pictures and videos but it has been nothing but a thorn in my side. I have been trying to consolidate my photos and videos onto on platform but instead my phone automatically syncs with MS One Drive. Then I get on the PC to try to access Google Photos but it won't even acknowledge the PC only phones, laptops, and tablets. So frustrating no wonder why people leave their stuff behind and have their information in all kinds of different apps.

So recently I have been using Google photos to download and use photos I took from one phone and use it on another. Putting my review back at 2 until a feature that allows users to DOWNLOAD TO DEVICE MULTIPLE PHOTOS/VIDEOS. which is a feature I didn't expect the app did not have. Very counterintuitive that it lacks that ability.
